Getting here

Three ways in.

On foot

From anywhere in Madaraka Estate it is a walk. The school is in the middle of the estate rather than on the main road, which is the right side of the traffic for a primary school and the reason most of our learners arrive without a vehicle.

By matatu

Take anything heading out of the city centre down Lang'ata Road and alight at the Madaraka stage, by the roundabout. From there it is a few minutes into the estate, past Ole Sangale Road, and Keri Road is on your left.

By car

From the city, take Uhuru Highway onto Lang'ata Road and come off at the Madaraka roundabout. Turn into the estate along Ole Sangale Road — Strathmore University is on the same road — then onto Keri Road. There is no parking on the compound; please do not block the gate.

Street names and their relationship to the school are taken from OpenStreetMap. Matatu routes are not named here because route numbers change and a wrong one sends a parent to the wrong side of the city.

Office hours

When you can reach a person.

Weekday mornings are the best time to come about a place. The teaching day starts earlier than the office does.

  • Monday 07:30 – 16:30
  • Tuesday 07:30 – 16:30
  • Wednesday 07:30 – 16:30
  • Thursday 07:30 – 16:30
  • Friday 07:30 – 16:30
  • Saturday Closed
  • Sunday Closed
Indicative — confirm before travelling
These hours are not published by the school. They are the ordinary pattern for a Nairobi public primary school and are shown so the assistant can answer "when are you open?" rather than failing. They are the one set of figures on this site that is not taken from a record, and they are labelled everywhere they appear. Replace them with the school's own before this goes live.

The teaching day

Something urgent about a child?

If it concerns one named learner specifically — safety, welfare, an incident, or a decision already made — please call the office and speak to a person. The assistant will hand you straight over rather than try to answer it.

Ask the school

Out of hours, ask anyway.

The assistant answers from the school's own records, and leaves your details for the office when it cannot help.
